How to Play?

Objective of the Game Rescue your lambs by finding matching pairs! But beware: the player left holding the wolf card at the end loses! Game Setup
  1. Shuffle the cards thoroughly.
  2. Deal all cards to players one by one.
  3. Play begins with the player to the left of the dealer and continues clockwise.
Game Rules First Round
  1. Each player secretly checks their cards.
  2. Players place any matching lamb pairs face-up in front of them.
  3. They say “Baaa!” to announce the rescue of their lambs.
Following Rounds
  1. On their turn, a player:
    • Draws one card from the player to their right.
    • Secretly checks the drawn card.
    • If they have a matching pair, they place it face-up in front of them.
    • Say “Baaa!” and pass the turn to the player on their left.
Special Card: Lamb Herd
  • A player holding a Lamb Herd card:
    • May use it at any time during their turn.
    • Is not required to use it immediately and may hold onto it.
    • When they choose to use it:
      1. Show the card to all players,
      2. Place it face-up in the center,
      3. Secretly give one card from their hand to a player of their choice.

  2. Leaves the game as a winner.
End of the Game
  • All lambs are paired and rescued — the game ends.
  • The player left with the wolf card howls “Awooo!” and loses.
Strategy Tips
  1. Track Carefully: Keep an eye on how many cards each player holds. It helps you guess who might have the wolf.
  2. Save the Lamb Herd: Holding onto this card until the right moment can help you escape the wolf.
  3. Observe Closely: Watch how many pairs each player has rescued. Those with fewer pairs may be holding the wolf.
  4. Plan Ahead: Make sure your last card isn’t the wolf — or you’ll have no way out!
Simplified Rules for Young Players
  • Play without the wolf card — the first to complete all pairs wins.
  • Play without the Lamb Herd card.
  • Play in teams so older players can help younger ones.
